Q: What are Public Keys and when are they necessary?
|
|
A: Public Keys are generated within PGP and can be made available to the public.
Any person who wants to send encrypted data using PGP should obtain the receiver's public key before executing the encryption process.
Use of Public Keys will ensure that the data can only be opened by the intended recipients.

|
| Q: What should I do if I am sending customer data on physical media
(e.g. MO disks, CD's, etc.) to Shinsei Trust? |
| A: We would like to request that all counterparties encrypt the data before sending it by physical
media. Using PGP's file encryption solution will
ensure that data cannot be compromised en route. Obtain the relevant relationship manager's
Public Key from Shinsei Trust's website and encrypt the file as instructed.
