provider. The assets are administered and managed according to certain
terms and conditions laid out in legal agreements.
Counterparties include asset originators, securities houses, broker-dealers,
portfolio sellers, and trading entities. Entities through which business
is sourced and with which market relationships are maintained are
Shinsei Bank and other third parties (as mentioned above), both foreign
and domestic institutions. As a fiduciary, Shinsei Trust Bank supplies
information to other market participants such as investors, rating
agencies and financial guarantors.
